If you work in the wine industry and have a presence in the UK market, then just-drinks needs your help this week.

Our survey of the wine market in the UK has a few more days to run, and we'd really like to know your thoughts. Head here for the survey – it takes about five minutes and qualifies you for a FREE copy of the report covering the survey results, due in early-May.

The results will be debated at our annual presentation at the London International Wine Fair next month. If you're coming to the wine fair, click here to book your seat at our seminar, which features a high-profile panel of industry experts. And, if you can't make it to London, head here to book your place at just-drinks' inaugural webinar, allowing you to enjoy our presentation from the comfort of your own computer.

Easter meant that last week was a pretty quiet one for the drinks industry. Aside from a couple of product launches from Diageo and Pernod Ricard, it was the brewers who were the main contenders for top story of the week: First up, Carlsberg agreed the creation of a consortium to buy up and develop its former brewery in Copenhagen, garnering a one-off US$250m net gain for the company. Then, in the Dominican Republic, speculation that Anheuser-Busch InBev is set to take control of Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana intensified.

Finally, in India - the home of the rumour-mill - the UB Group was reported to be lining up a stake sale in Whyte & Mackay. Have a look here for the inside track on news that wasn't actually news at all.
